The Story Behind ‘The Crimble’
Crimble Hall isn’t just any building. It’s a place filled with deep personal significance for me and my family. This double Rosette-recognized venue was where my wife and I celebrated our wedding 30 years ago. Now, after over two centuries of history dating back to 1810, we’re bringing this iconic hall back to life—transforming it from a beloved restaurant venue into a private residence.
But this restoration is about more than just bricks and mortar. It’s a homecoming for me—Crimble Hall sits just half a mile from my childhood home, and it’s a cornerstone of the Rochdale community. With each episode, you’ll get an inside look at how we’re blending heritage with personal history, community ties, and, of course, some serious renovation magic!
