Doing Business God's Way with Dave Charlson #67
How we do business matters. Why we do business matters. Where we do business matters. Not just to us, but to God, who gave us the creativity to start our businesses in the first place.
Today with chat with Dave Charlson, who's been a faith driven entrepreneur for almost 25 years and was heavily involved with the folks over at Heaven in Business for almost a decade.
Partnering with God in Your Business w/ Jordan Gerding
Jordan Gerding had it made. A family business to walk into and one day take over, he was looking at a $10 million payday for a life of work that would never really be 'work'. Then he felt God's nudge, and walked away from it all to partner with God in a new venture, which launched in March of 2020.
Wowsers.
When Prayer is Your Business w/ Amy Lykosh

The Super-Man
In 1978 I was just a wee lad, when a movie came out that changed the landscape of film-making forever. They made a man look as though he really could fly.

WeCrashed / A WeWork Story About Coworking That isn’t Really About Coworking At All
Apple TV released the new series this week called ‘WeCrashed’ (yep, no spacing). It’s an ‘inspired by true events’ type thing that tells the story of WeWork, a monumental Coworking business that changed the landscape for flexible workspace over the last decade.
Seriously.
Now you know this piques my interest because I’m a Coworking guy, founding Houston’s oldest, longest running, most (and highest) reviewed and now award winning Coworking business (www.worklodge.com). But back in 2013 when I had the idea, I didn’t know who Adam Neuman was. I didn’t know there was a think called Coworking either. But that’s a whole different story.
Do ‘Sunday Sermons’ Work? Heck yeah! When they’re good 😱.
As a kid I grew up in Church.
First, it was a dead, boring, cliched Church of England that I genuinely couldn’t tell you anything about as far as content or meaningful memories. I can tell you I had to wear a ridiculous choir outfit that left me with PTSD for life.
