The 5 Best Coworking Spaces in Houston, Texas

As founder of one of Houston’s original coworking spaces, I’ve been living and breathing flexible workspace since 2013 when I first began thinking of ways to create incredible campus environments that were accessible and available to entrepreneurs and companies of all sizes. As a result, I sometimes get asked about other great coworking options around the city of Houston, as believe it or not, I don’t have a WorkLodge on every corner (!) and we don’t always have space available in the locations we operate, given how long our members stay with us!So without further ado, here’s 5 of my favorite coworking spaces in Houston, Texas.

1. WorkLodge

The oldest, most established and most innovative of spaces leads the pack! It’s also the highest rated coworking space in Houston.

With 2 locations in the Houston-area, WorkLodge Vintage Park serves the Northwest communities of Spring, Cypress, Magnolia and Tomball, while WorkLodge’s Woodlands location serves the North Houston neighborhoods of Spring, Woodlands and Conroe.

Providing coworking and private office options for teams of up to 50, WorkLodge prides itself on providing an incredible aesthetic and enterprise grade infrastructure with the needs and safety of your business in mind. With extra amenities like Podcast recording studios and monthly networking events, no doubt these spaces should be on the top of your list.www.worklodge.com

2. Headquarters

My buddy Peter and his sister Devin created Headquarters in East Downtown, (also known as EaDo, and have a second location on the way). Dog friendly, well-positioned with parking available, they’re just amazing people doing amazing things while building an amazing community. Coworking and private office options with everything from single person options through large, team suites and if I’m honest, a building that I’m just a tad jealous of!

Stop by and say hi, take a look around and tell them Mike sent you. 😊 And be sure to check out the silent ping pong table.www.headquartershtx.com

3. The Cannon

Lawson and his team opened this incredible space on the west side of Houston close to City Centre and Memorial City Mall not too long ago and what a space it is. All the work options you’d expect along with a few you might not, and all part of an ever-growing development that will ultimately encompass retail, restaurants and more on the property. One of the great things about The Cannon is their commitment to the startup community. So if you’re looking for great startup resources, investment opportunities and relationships (they work with Capital Factory out of Austin) then The Cannon is worth a look. p.s. I may also be friends with Lawson!www.thecannon.com

4. WiCowork

My friend Juan Carlos took his creative vision to an old, historical Houston home and transformed it into a cozy, inspirational and creative powerhouse. Split over multiple floors, you’re free to connect in the kitchen, mingle on the porch or get to work in the open, coworking zone or private offices. It’s a little smaller than the others on this list but don’t let that fool you, it’s run by great people and could be the right fit for you. BTW - This place is run by the best dressed owner out of all on this list (including me, but don’t tell him I said that!). What can I say, it’s so much easier to look good with hair than without it!www.wicowork.com

5. Houston Business Lounge

I’ve known Monique who started HBL for years and she’s a rock star. With a heart to build an inclusive, supportive, flexible workspace that anyone can enjoy, she’s been on the Houston coworking scene almost as long as I have and has earned her superb review ratings on Google and more. Conveniently located just off the 610/290 intersection with easy parking and a little less traffic.https://houstonbusinesslounge.spaces.nexudus.com/en

I love how classy and friendly the coworking scene is in Houston. It’s been a privilege for me to build friendships with everyone on this list and a few others that aren’t. We all love the opportunity to help and support our entrepreneurial community and the time has never been better and the choice never greater than today for coworking options in this incredible city we call home.
